The purpose of this journal is to share my trinity walk to self-love and different techniques that helped me. In the following chapters, I will teach and guide you in diverse ways to give, receive, and set boundaries to start you on your successful journey. It is written in the order that helped me while on my path to healing, and if you decide to follow my path, you can change the order to accommodate you.
Another way to navigate this path is by adding a trustworthy friend who is nonjudgmental and will hold you accountable. You want someone you can trust with your emotions. There will be times when you have to be brutally honest with yourself, and you may want to vent to someone; just make sure they are trustworthy. If you can’t trust a friend, try doing daily journaling, find a therapist, or trust God, because we know He will never turn His back on us or tell our business. I actually had two riders that I trusted with my process: my friends Kendra M. and Cynthia U. These two understood the assignment and the importance of me healing from all the heartbreaks that I experienced. They held me accountable and encouraged me when I wanted to give up, helped and motivated me to stay focused so that I could help you. My prayer while you are on your journey is that you learn to become the best version of yourself by seeing yourself through your own eyes as the beautiful being God created you to be.
